It is worth mentioning that a new power generation mode of "agriculture-solar hybrid + fishery-solar hybrid" was adopted for the 150MW PV Project in Kaiping City, Guangdong Province, with PV power generation above the module and agricultural planting and fishery beneath the panel, realizing triple economic benefits of the organic combination of electric power with agriculture and fishery while meeting the demand for electric power of neighboring areas. From a high-altitude view, cultivated lands, fishing fields and PV modules form a magnificent picture.

"Two" Typhoons

Summer and autumn in Kaiping of Guangdong Province, a city located in the southeast coastal region of China, are often accompanied by rainwater and typhoon, which pose higher requirements for anti-typhoon capability of modules. Up to now, the 150MW PV Project in Kaiping City, Guangdong Province has been put into operation for nearly 10 months. Going through two massive typhoons, the project, steadily withstood the "typhoon tests", and can still maintain stable operation and good power generation performance, showcasing the resilience of Solargiga's modules.

Through long-term and extensive research on module anti-corrosion, tide resistance and typhoon resistance, Solargiga has made remarkable achievements for its GIGA series modules to effectively cope with typhoons and rainy weather. The products have passed IEC61215 test (the front can withstand 5400pa snow pressure and the back can withstand 2400pa wind pressure), IEC61701 (salt spray corrosion test) and IEC62716 (ammonia gas corrosion test), and have been certified by many authoritative organizations such as CQC, TüV and CE, providing customers with safe and reliable high-quality modules.

"One" Objective

The 150MW PV Project in Kaiping City, Guangdong Province is invested and developed by Shandong Hi-Speed New Energy Group Limited (hereinafter referred to as "SHNE"), who has always developed, constructed, operated and managed clean energy demonstration projects by taking technological innovation, environmental protection and benefiting mankind as its core responsibilities. Solargiga has been supplying goods for the Project for one year since October 2021.
